Measure the site
Record gradients with units, the direction of travel, transitions and the location of edges or water. A single maximum gradient does not describe the site.
Describe traction
Include ground firmness, moisture, loose material, ruts and vegetation. Traction and stability change with conditions and the supplied configuration.
Plan the operating zone
Identify public access, obstacles, route transitions and the operator role. Ask how the actual equipment documentation applies to the proposed task.
Request a review
Send a sketch, representative photographs and the intended schedule. Agree model-specific limits and representative test conditions before making a decision.
