Five preparation guides
Site assessment
Map work zones, access, slopes, edges, obstacles, public interaction and vegetation. Take representative photographs and state the area with units.
Working width selection
Compare minimum access and row clearance, turning space, transport and desired coverage. Confirm actual model dimensions and cutting equipment.
RTK preparation
Record sky visibility, buildings, trees, correction coverage and intended routes. Confirm supported positioning equipment and setup requirements.
Orchards & tea gardens
Measure rows and headlands; describe tree guards, canopy, stones, soil firmness, moisture and seasonal vegetation.
Daily inspection discussion
Ask for the model-specific inspection and maintenance checklist. Follow the supplied manual and training; this guide is not an operating procedure.
Your site information pack
- Site sketch — Mark zones, restricted areas, access and route transitions.
- Measurements — Record clearance, area, gradients and transport constraints with units.
- Conditions — Describe vegetation, soil, weather exposure and maintenance schedule.
- Responsibilities — Identify the operator, site manager and service contact.
- Review — Confirm equipment documentation and agree a demonstration plan.
The selection checklist is a planning aid, not an operator manual or safety procedure.
Questions to review
Does this guide authorize operation?
No. Use the current equipment documentation, training and site procedures. The checklist helps prepare a selection conversation.
What if measurements are incomplete?
Identify what is unknown in the inquiry and agree how the site information will be collected.
